Looking for the iat senser on 1995 chevy silverodo 3500 it has a 454ci engine

The IAT (intake air temperature) sensor if it has one is in the air intake snorkle to the throttle body. But I`m pretty sure this year didn`t have one until 1997. If you mean IAC (idle air control) solenoid its on the side of the throttle body, black box with square 4 wire connector.

1997 chevy truck 5.0 the truck sat for 7 months now it idles at over 2000 rpm only code showing for idle air control replaced it no difference

Try getting some throttle body cleaner, open the throttle body butterfly valve and clean it with an old toothbrush. It should be better.

1997 chevy s-10 goes dead

Idle air control valve is usually the problem when you have no drivability issues and no codes other than an idle issue., Clean the throttle body. this may help but if it doesnt you will need to swap the IAC out.

Fuel pressure regulator

Two places to look...if you have separate injectors for each cylinder then regulator should be at the front end of the fuel rail. If you have throttle body injection it is on the throttle body itself.

1997 chevy want alot of horsepower and speed

Just a note, if this is an unaltered system, it should contain a sequential fuel injection system, which does not use a conventional throttle body. It uses a spider system instead, which is much different than the pre 1996 models.

I have a 1997 chevy cavalier and my throttle position sensor is shorted how do I change it.

No big trick here, just unbolt it and put the new one in. If it's adjustable use the dirt on the throttle body as a guide for proper placement. Make sure it engages properly on the throttle shaft as well.
