Question about 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix
Something has happened to the security, you don't have it anymore. The computer went to default mode and lets the car run. You can either fix the problem(you have to take it somewhere to have it scanned) or remove the instrument panel and take out the light, Or you can live with it..I would just live with it.

It sounds like the security system has been activated so you need to roll down the drivers side window and close the door. Reach in and turn on the key to the Run position and leave in on for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes is up, turn off the key and then try to start the car. The car should start. If it doesn't start do the process over again. This usually fixes the problem. There is no way to turn off the security system unless you have a key fob. If you have the key fob, just unlock the car and that will disable the security system. I hope this has been helpful.

You have a bad sensor at one of the tires that need replacing that operates ABS and traction control. If you take it in to a shop it will run $130 but they can find which sensor is causing the problem. But if you do it you might have to replace all 4 sensors to make sure you got the right one. Every hard to diagnoses. Its better for the shop cause they can get electrical read outs for each sensor.

Sounds like your security system is shutting the car down. You should be able to leave the key on for 15 minutes and it will reset itself. Make sure you are using factory keys, and they are in good condition.
