Does the engine reach normal operating temp? Are the heater hoses hot, engine at normal operating temp? If that checks out, my next thought is temp door or actuator under the dash.

Sound like a heater core, the heater core would be under your dash..Another sign of the heater core being gone, is you would notice the floor board being wet..It is possible that maybe at some point the floor board was wet and you didn't know here it came from and didn't give it another thought..But if the blower works..I would bet heater core...Or it could be a thermostate..check the thermostate first it would be the easiest.. and the cheapest..

SOURCE: No heat in cab. Blower working fine.

Make sure that you have enough coolant in the system and that it is getting to the heater core. Also make sure that the blend door on the heater box under the dash is moving from cold to hot. Also make sure that the temperature knob on the console is actually turning to the hot side and not turning.

The heat selector switch in the heater control knobs is the only electric style in the group. The rest are cable driven. It may need replacement.

Does your truck have a cabin filter? Have you checked the cabin filter (under the dash on passenger side)?

if the heater core is good, the hot -cold switch usually located in one of the heater hoses could need replaced or the cable is bad going to that valve. If it is stuck in closed position, you will get no heat

Heater fan doesnt work

Replace blower motor; hit blower area with fan switch and hi-speed and see if it comes on.

the problem could be either the motor is bad or the reostat (it controls the speed of the motor is faulty.) the reostat is located in the blower motor housing and has two wires going to it. the blower motor is located either on the passenger side fire wall inside the cab behind the glove box or on the fire wall under the hood. please rate this
