Test the battery first with a load tester .if you dont have one take battery to local auto parts store they should check it for free. If battery is good start checking for bad termanal connections .check for dirty or bad connection on your starter also check ground connection for dirt or no connection these are the most common problems. if this was helpful please leave good feed back.

SOURCE: 98 chevy s10 blazer turn signal

Unplug the turn signal relay from the fuse box and start you engine. Does it still make that noise?
If yes... Put the relay back in, that is not the problem.
If No...Then the relay could be bad, replace it!

PLEASE RATE THIS SOLUTION! Thank You Very Much!

Does it start if you spray starting fluid into the air inlet of the engine? If so the fuel pump has failed.

1997 chevy s10 blazerdash wont light up when key

the dash sound's like a fuse, check the fuse box under the hood and in the door jamb on the side of the dash, also check your fuel filter and fuel pump, im betting on the pump because i have a 2001 chevy blazer that has had two replaced and it has 233000km on it!

My 87 k5 blazer headlights don't turn on when the car is started and running any more... all 4 headlights turn on fine when I pull the lever all the way out for high beams

The vehicle should not have to be running for head lights to burn.If high beams work, then the low beam head lights could be burned out, even though they light up with high beams. The dimmer switch, can be the problem if the head lights only work on high beam.

Main fuse

I don't believe there is a main fuse.Chevy uses fuseable link wire that come off the starter. They are like fuses, but they are wires that are made to burn if overloaded.Pull lightly on the wires coming off the starter & see if one or more stretch. This indicates a burnt fuseable link. You can buy fuseable link wire at Auto Zone cheap.Good luck,

Battery light is still on after replacing battery

I had a similar problem on a older chevy nova and the problem turned out to be an open fuseable link. Don't know if the S10's have the same wiring, I haven't seen the wiring diagram.
