Mis-fire code.....2001 Trooper limited.....# 6 coil shorter.....Which is the # 6 position?

Cylinders are 1-3-5 on the left side front to back and 2-4-6 on the right side front to back as you are standing in front of the car looking towards the windsheild. That makes #6 the back on on the right side.

I need a picture of the spark plugs on a 1998 ford taurus numbered

I don't have a link with pictures, but I will describe the cylinder and coil numbers for both the overhead valve (OHV) and the overhead cam (OHC) as best I can.
Facing the engine from the front bumper.
On the 3.0 overhead valve (OHV) the cylinder location looks like this:
1 2 3
4 5 6

The coil location looks like this:
5 1
6 2
4 3

If you have the 3.0 overhead camshaft (OHC) engine again facing the engine from the front bumper your cylinder location looks like this:

1 2 3
4 5 6

Your coil location looks like this:

4 6 5
3 2 1

I hope this was helpful.

I am having trouble removing the wiper access panel under the windsheild ?

after removing wipers and rubber hood seal -pull up on plastic access cover while standing in front of front bumper . use 2 hands ,each hand about a foot from center . would not hurt to use wd-40 along the windsheild the retainor is not accessable exturnally .just before you think your going to break it ,it pops off
what ever you do ,do not pry any where near the windshield ,i learned the hard way
