ISOLATE WHICH ONE IS MISFIRING, THEN CHANGE THE PLUGS ROUND TO SEE IF SAME ONE IS MISS FIRING, IF IT CHANGES TO OTHER ONE WHERE YOU PUT PLUG INTO THEN CHANGE THE PLUG, IT COULD BE A COIL PACK THOUGH. Sorry caps.

It could be a spark plug, plug wire, or a coil. Sometimes thay break down intermittently. If it needs a tuneup, that would be the first thing to do.

Check your fuell filter. You may have low pressure from a clogged filter. Also do a full tune up, plugs, wires and cap and rotor if it has it. Some fuel injector cleaner may help as well. As a precaution have the pressure regulator on the fuel injection rail checked before you do all the other things. They can go bad without warning. Good luck.

Well, we could guess all day. But first check all of the fuses, and visually check the wiring to the compressor and pressure switches, see if all are connected. If it went out suddenly, electrical issues are usually the culprit.

SOURCE: hi i have mitsubishi pinin 4x4 2.0 GDI engine,

Some vehicles don't run well with the platinum plugs. It will cause the engine to misfire and skip. I would go back with the OEM or a step above unless your car came with platinum plugs which is doubtful. The plugs may be firing off correct when cold but as the engine warms and more friction is there the plugs may be doing more bad because it's not firing correct from the plug being warm. It sounds strange but I work for BOSCH and there are alot of things that don't seem normal to someone that's not involved in making these parts and seeing the everyday test and use. Good Luck. Let me know what you find out and what works.

Any number of thing's could cause this condition , Weak fuel pump , low fuel volume , an engine sensor , mass air flow for one , A crank sensor that is going bad , cam sensor etc... your best bet would be to have it diagnosed professionally , rather then guessing an just replacing parts

Ford focus tdci white smoke problems

What happening is you have a bad head gasket or its starting to go bad. As long a little oil is getting in to cylinders causing that smoke once it warms up that gasket is expanding thus the smoke stops. I would keep an eye on oil levels if it gets milky replace gasket asap. Could also be intake gasket but highly doubt it this sounds like a worn head gasket.

Ford focus desil takes forever to heat up

Can be due to the failure of the Thermostat valve in the inlet that can be open at all times thereby allowing the radiator to work even in cold condition. The thermostat failure can also cause the fan to work at all times thus not warming the engine.

It's 12 degrees outside, how long should i leave the engine of my 2007 ford focus running to warm up?

Wait for the temp gauge to lift off of the low end stop. The car is then warm enough to drive. Be very gentle on the trans for the first 20 miles or so, because the transmission relies on engine heat to warm up the trans fluid. Cold trans fluid is very dense and can cause the transmission to slip, causing gear damage.

it is most likely the battery (im not saying it is ) this problems occurs alot in the winter you may want to take the battery and let it sit indoors or garage for at least a day or two ,if that works you may also you want to purchase something called HEET keeps gas from freezing up only a couple dollars at your local gas store/station

99 suberban missing at idle after warm

Code shows missfire on No 1 cylider. When engine is cold it runs a rich mixture. If the missfire is still No 1 then check for vac leak on manifold. Perhaps a vac line or intake gasket.

Missfire #1

Might be a sticking valve. If they stick, then they usually do it when the engine is cold. Hook up a vacuum gauge, then start the engine cold: if the needle bounces during the misfire, then suspect an intake valve is sticking.
