Question about 1994 Mazda 929

How to disconnect the alarm system .

Alarm is going off several times during the night when I am home and when I am away. I came back from a trip and was told by security that alarm had gone off at least 3 times that day. I recently came home on the coldest day of this Fall to find my battery drained do to alarm going off and draining my battery. That battery is only a year old, and is the most powerful battery from NAPA.

I have a 2005 Jeep (Cherokee)Liberty CRD Limited. Since new the alarm would go off without any reason. How can I disconnect the alarm without tampering with the immobilizer. Thanks.

you can t. but you have the sensitivity senser can be adjusted. on another note if you have a neighbor with a CB system you ask them to check there ground High RF can cause senser to trip. this happens when they are running power on system. they canbe a block or two away and cause this problem . too check this ,set alarm and have him key down if alarm goes off you found the problem. That was my problem and yes i had the CB system, it was bad ground on my system. 2011 ford fuson good luck let me know what you find out.

Why does Stabilitrak Off fault light come on when trying to pass a car?

I have a 2008 model. I am assuming the stabilitrak button(on my SUV) located next to the geer shift is turning the stabilitrak system
on and off OK? If not maybe just this switch is bad?
Unfortunately my stabilitrak alarm indicator has started coming on
periodically too. Mine seems to get reset after driving it for some
time then stopping and restarting after several short trips. I'm not
sure if mine is a real issue if it goes away after a while of driving.
The last time my "check engine" light came on also. When the
traction control alarm went away, so did the check engine alarm.
Good luck.

1999 oldsmobile aurora headlights go off in middle of night and sometomes alarm

It sounds like you have a malfunctioning alarm system. If it is an aftermarket system, you should simply turn it off. If it is a factory alarm it would really be best to take this to a dealer. In the mean time, to prevent battery drain, you can disconnect the black battery terminal at night when you park the car.

My name is Amir Rahim. I live in San Diego CA. North Park. Not too bad of a neighborhood. I loved my 2005 Chevy Equinox. Up until two nights ago I felt secure every time I locked the doors and heard...

You should never leave $$$$ things like that inside a locked up car. Factory alarm systems only go off if the doors are opened. All the crooks know this. You need to have a glass breakage sensor added to your system.

1998 Jeep power drains battery over night

Before you disable your alarm try this, disconnect the alternator field plug over night, check battery voltage at the battery before you disconnect the plug then disconnect and leave alone over night, make sure you have at least 12 volts when you disconnect the alt.
Recheck battery voltage in the morning before you reconnect the field plug...

I suspect you may have a leaking diode in your alternator's internal regulator, have seen it many times on your model... Certainly worth a try. Let me know how it turns out....

Alarm problem on my 2001 elantra

This alarm system can only be 'disarmed' using the keyless remote programmed for this specific vehicle. Press the "Unlock" button on the keyless remote -- this resets/disarms the alarm system. If you do not have keyless remote for this vehicle, get one and have it programmed at a Hyundai Service Center. Problem solved.

Alarm going off

My 2001 TD5 discovery has the same problem and this started in the last 18 months.
Normaly the car is parked in a locked garage, and the car is not locked.
The alarm does not go off during the day when parked anywhere even when parked for long periods.

When we are away camping in the bush or caravan parks, if I think of it I remove the "horn fuse" under the bonnet at night and replace this in the morning, if I dont do this the alarm does not go off every night, but I rather do this, than me and everyone at the camp site being woken up at 0300 hr'
Maybe it is the night temperature, ??

I hope this is of some help. John L.L
