Get the Haynes repair manual for it because without knowing exactly where that is located I cant help you,if its in the fuel tank you will need to know if its accessible through your trunk or back seat or if you have to remove the fuel tank to get at it,go to your auto parts store to get the manual or buy one online

You must remove the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump.
  1. Remove fuel tank.
  2. Remove any dirt that has accumulated around fuel pump module retaining flange.
  3. Turn fuel pump module locking retainer ring (#1)counterclockwise using Fuel Tank Sender Wrench 310-D006 and remove fuel pump module locking retainer ring.
  4. Pull fuel pump module sender plate up out of fuel tank until locking tabs(#3) for fuel pump module are accessible. Reach through fuel pump module opening, squeeze both locking tabs together and remove fuel pump module from fuel tank.

Fuel control module 2008 escalade and the fuel pump quit working.if I run a hot wire to it it will run but as soon as I remove the hot wire it quits

Ran a hot wire to what fuel pump or the control module ? Which of these is yours ?
Figure 9: Fuel Controls - Fuel Pump Controls (LY6)
Figure 10: Fuel Pump Flow Control Module (Except LY6) Does yours have fuel pump flow control module under the vehicle Fuel Pump Flow Control Module (except LY6)
Mounted to the left side of the frame assembly below the driver seat ?
Fuel Pump Flow Control Module (FPCM) - LMF
The fuel pump flow control module (FPCM) is a serviceable GMLAN module. The FPCM receives the desired fuel pressure message from the engine control module (ECM) and controls the fuel pump located within the fuel tank to achieve the desired fuel pressure. The FPCM sends a 25 KHZ PWM signal to the fuel pump, and pump speed is changed by varying the duty cycle of this signal. Maximum current supplied to the fuel pump is 15 amps. A liquid fuel pressure sensor provides fuel pressure feedback to the FPCM.
Electronic Returnless Fuel System (ERFS) - LMF
The electronic returnless fuel system is a microprocessor controlled fuel delivery system which transports fuel from the tank to the fuel rails. It functions as an electronic replacement for a traditional, mechanical fuel pressure regulator. A pressure vent valve within the fuel tank provides an added measure of fuel pump flow control module (FPCM). Desired fuel pressure is commanded by the engine control module (ECM), and transmitted to the FPCM via a GMLAN serial data message. A liquid fuel pressure sensor provides the feedback the FPCM requires for Closed Loop fuel pressure control.
If your vehicle has this system check it for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Will take guess work out of it .

The engine control module (ECM) supplies voltage to the fuel pump flow control module (FPCM) when the ECM detects that the ignition is on. The voltage from the ECM to the FPCM remains active for 2 seconds, unless the engine is in crank or run. While this voltage is being received, the FPCM supplies a varying voltage to the fuel tank pump module in order to maintain the desired fuel rail pressure.

Is there a fuel relay that could be going bad

The problem is caused by a defective fuel level sending unit inside the gas tank, it is very common and caused by the chemicals in the new cleaner burning motor vehicle fuels eating up the insulator on the sending unit. To replace the sending unit requires the fuel tank be removed, the sending unit is part of the fuel pump module and all are replaced as one unit.

I HAVE A 2000 BUICK LASEBRE AND FUEL GAGE IS NOT READING CORRECT DO I NEED A FUEL PUMP?

You don't necessarily need a new fuel pump module. Likely the fuel level sending unit has gone bad. It is entirely possible that the level sending can be replaced without having to replace the entire fuel pump module. However the fuel tank will still need to be pulled in order to remove the module so that you can replace the sender.

I didn't see one aftermarket but I only checked NAPA. You can certainly call around or even try the dealer to see if you can get just the sender.

On the other hand fuel pumps are pretty common failures on GM vehicles. If you have the module out it wouldn't be a bad idea to just replace the whole thing. If you do decide to replace the module make sure you replace it with a quality part. A/C Delco and Delphi are to of the better brands. Also put a fresh fuel filter on. Changing the fuel filter every 30 to 36 thousand miles will significantly increase the life of the fuel pump.

Where is the Fuel sensor locate on a 98 chev blazer?

Both the fuel level sensor/sending unit and the fuel tank pressure sensor are located on or in the fuel pump module.

The fuel tank will need to be lowered in order to gain access to the fuel tank pressure sensor which will be the black sensor on top of the fuel pump module.

The fuel tank will need to be removed in order to remove the fuel pump module to gain access to the fuel level sending unit attached to the side of the fuel pump module.

It most definatly is in the tank. and the tank will have to be dropped. Unless you have a lift, it will be a pain in the ****. Especially if there is a full tank of gas.

1996 Suburban, after changing the Fule Pump Module with another module, I turn the key over and hear a whirr from the tank but the vehicle will not start. i think the Fuel Pump Module must be bad, but do...

The fuel pump module may not be bad. If you hear whirr that is good. Did you change both of the filters, the one on the fuel pump and the external filter (the one along the frame of the trunk). Also did you clean out the tank? If you did all that the next step would most likly point to fuel injectors.
