Really? Shall is a verb - I am thinking that we shall go out to diner tonight. Shell is a noun - the beach is full of sea shells.

I have a 2015 tundra just bought a camper shell for it and want to hook up the brake light on he shell. Can i tap into the driver side brake light for the shell light.

Yes, you could connect the shell's (third) light in parallel with the break light (driver or passenger side). Just make sure none of the shell light wires is connected to ground (chassis).

Will a 2003 Grand Am alternator work in a 2001 Grand Am?

Maybe, maybe not. Different engine sizes use different alternator
mounting configurations. So maybe, if the engines are the same size, it COULD maybe work. There is also the issue of the pulley alignment and type as well. More often than not, they are not interchangeable after a year or so gap. All you can do is look them
up on say Autozone or Advance Auto and see if they have the same part number.

I would think so, I believe they are the same dash shell, different trim levels, but same basic shell.

1999 GMC suburban and just out of the blue the transmission started to make a grinding noise mind you this is a 4wd unit it still will go but acts like it stuck in low gear and no reverse I tried different...

The sun-shell in the transmission has cracked if you do not have reverse, and are in a low gear range with no overdrive. As for the grinding, that is the remnants of the sun-shell.

Lost reverse on GMC Yukon Denali vortex drives forwrd here a little wind

WOW sorry to hear that.

this is a common problem with the 4l60e transmission, what has happend is the gear has sheared off the back of the sun shell, you should have lost reverse and if you will watch your tachometer the next time you drive you will notice you allso lost forth gear.

you will nedd to have the transmission removed and disassembled for the new sun shell, make sure you get the hardened sun shell, this is not a rebuild but simply a repair. you can get a stock sun shell for about $65.00 or a heavy duty one for about $100.00, make sure you find a good tranny guy to provide the labor, oh the transmission paper rubber kit "reseal kit" shouldnt be more than about $80.00

good luck
