The coolant mixture is supposed to be 50% antifreeze, 50% water. if the coolant freezes, the rad will be blocked until everything is completely thawed out. Driving it will not do this necessarily. Best bet is to put the car in a heated garage and let it sit until everything is thawed out. Then drain everything, refill with proper coolant mixture and you should be good to go. Unless of course you did damage driving it very far while it was overheating.

Very serious.... don't over heat too much or your car will break..... could be the thermostat is hooped... or the water pump.... make sure the car is completely thawed.... but i'd she over heats take her to the mach.... night cost a few bucks but no car costs a lot more

On my 1999 oldsmobile alero. the overflow hose seem like it got a pin hold in it. because when i was driveing all this stam was comeing out. where is it comeing from?

Yes it could be a leak in the hose between the radiator and the overflow tank. The tank is supposed to hold excess coolant when the engine is hot and then release it back into the radiator when the engine is cool.

Antifreeze keep coming out of my overflow on my 1999 alero olsd.. i chnge the water pump , radiator, thermostate , and no milky in oil,, it did nt over heat what else coud it be/

how about a bad cap, if it doesnt overheat then you may have a bad cap allowing coolant to flow into overflow when it shouldnt, the overflow is for when pressure builds to a certain amount it flows but not always and a bad cap will do this, good day.

I have a light comin on in the console, it lights up red... the icon looks like liquid...????.....i do not not have a car manuel for this vehicle....

Does it look like a radiator with water looking squigly lines? Check your radiator fluid level in the overflow canister on the left side of the engine compartment. It's probably low. After you fill it and it goes on again in due time, the overflow canister may have a crack in it, which is common for Alero's. Water pumps tend to go on these too, this may be leaking also. But check the coolant level first.

Have 99 alero heating up seems to be blowing all the cooling out the overfol on the surge tank can anyone help me

You may have a thermostat that is stuck closed. I would also check the radiator cap. Worse thing would be a blown head gasket.

Motor oil leaking into overflow

If you mean the coolant overflow I would check the oil dipstick for water oil. It will appear white/tan. If this is the case I would firmly suspect a head gasket.

Sounds like a headgasket problem.
If this is the 3.4 liter v6, they are good for the rear headgasket being blown. This lets combustion gases into the cooling system, and causes the coolant to overflow the tank.
