How does the vacume lines engage the four wheel drive in a 89 wrangler

the line dont really engage the the transfer case, the engage the half shaft on the frount axel. the passenger side axel on the frount. theres a small box on the tube, inside is an actuator and a pikle fork that slides a ring onto the half shaft to engage the frount axel. this is done to improve turnig radus in 2 wd. the actuator goes out or gets stuck. you can check the lines and all that but on my jeep i removed the cover and used zip ties on the actuator rod to prevent it from disengaging. lost a little bit of turning but gained my 4wd back. for free. there are kits that replace this vacume system with a cable system but there expensive. just remeber jeep can stand for two things. Just Empty Every Poket or Just Enough Essental Parts. good luck and good wheeling

Windscreen wipers wont turn off and interiour clock no display ??

I think from memory they have a rain sensor...could be it's damaged. See your local MMC dealer with your full chassis number and they might be able to check if your model has a rain sensor and where it's located.

2004 ram 1500... after a heavy snow fall, now the wiper blades are approx 2 inches above where the stop point should be. when i turn on the blades, they go down before going up.

take them off of the shafts a nut holds them under a plastic cover. turn your key on and turn your wipers on with the wipers removed. then turn wipers off with switch. turn off key an put wipers back on in the correct park position.

Wipers

On my 850 the headlight wipers come on the same time as my windshield wipers when I pull the lever to squirt washer fluid on my windshield.
The back wiper should be on an independent switch.
