Question about Mercedes-Benz 300-Class
My 2004 Mercedes Benz ML350 Sport loses radio sound for no reason. The 1st time my husband disconnected the battery and it came back fine, but it just did it to me again. I can change stations and my CD's, but there's no sound. What could be causing it?
Amplifier built into stereo is shorting out causing it to kick off and no sound will play. Resetting by removing power for a few minutes will reset and will work until short is noticed again by system.

kzingraff, I have a similar situation to Craig Waldie. I have a 2005 Durango and the CD player has not worked since I replaced the battery. Just like his 2004, the radio works perfectly, just not able to use the CD player. How can this issue be fixed?

well this is not easy unless you make a accessby removing anything in the way,or just take the headlight out ,How did you manage to open the bonnet as these vehicles from around this year started using a sealed bonnet that only the dealers can open with a special electronic key that uses rolling encrypted software.
