Question about 2006 Hyundai Azera
I removed the housing to get to the manual crank. Tried to slide it open or shut. It won't open more than an inch and will not close completely. It is a fraction of an inch from seating properly.
Sounds like the track needs lubrication. Check the track for obstructions like accumulation of leaves or other materials that would prevent it from closing completely

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Have you tried to lube the seals? You want to make sure you lube the seals and any other components to the sunroof. Open it and clean out everything you can on the rims of the sunroof. Lube all your arms and seals, then try closing it. If it is working, the switch is good, as well as the fuse and motor. This means the problem is in the sunroof itself.
