Gonna have to take the lower dash piece off and find the remote starter box. It should be labeled.

Dash board don't work

its not a wire touching a live. i think its a live wire earthing somewhere. you need to / or an auto electrician need to do a continuity test on that part of the cicuit to find which wire is the culprit. its either a ten min job or a ten hour one, depends how far into electrical system the fault is. Hope this helps you

I would like to know where is the ECM located on my ford bronco 2, I greatly appreciate your help.

look under the hood at the firewall and you will see a 60 pin connector that is the ECM, you did not give the year so i don't know wich way the ECM comes out some had a panel under the hood that you removed and slid the ECM out others you have to remove the 60 pin and then go under the dash and remove a mount bolt and slide the ECM out from under the dash.

1997 Dodge Grand caravan, problems started with intermittant loss of gages & flashing lights on the buttons for a/c & recirc. it then progressed to the loss of my hi beams, cabin lights, remote...

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like you have a problem under the dash with the main harness wireing as it comes thru the dash board from the firewall or at a connection under the dash board. Or if your dash board is controlled by a circuit board. Best Bet, Have an electrical auto shop in your area take a look, many things to take apart under the dash and you may make the problem worse with out realizeing it, no matter how versed you are with cars.

Programing a remote on a 99 quest

first make sure, that the batter is ok. You will need to have both remotes while doing this.
1: get in and lock the doors with the power door lock
2: insert the key into the ignitoin repeatedly IN and OUT 6 times in a row or just keep doing so, until the hazard flashers flash on the dash board (observe the dash board while inserting key)
3: after the hazadrs flash TURN key into the ACC position/not start.(dash will light up) DO NOT START
4: with the key in ACC position, hit lock button on the remote. That will program that remote.
5: to program the other remote simply unlock the door with the door lock switch and relock it with the swithc and hit the other remote button.
6: done
