Almost always the key is not at fault. I know for sure heat changes the resistance of the key but it does not happen as a usual thing you would have to apply physical heat. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

no the key needs to be programed for now disconnect your ground cable on the battery for a couple minutes then try to restart it

Yes there is but because this is a security issue and not knowing if you own the car I wont tell you how to hotwire a car. But if you want to get the wiring diagrams and an assortment of resisters ranging from 5 to 30 ohms you would have to find the correct wire to put the resister in and then try different ohm values hoping this bypass it. A library should have the info you need for free
