Noticed that my Maruti 800 does only 10km per petrol ltr, which is very low for a Maruti 800. Also the engine sound is not smooth. How can I get these fixed?

If it is fuel injected ,have the injectors cleaned. check the fuel pressure as if it is too low then you have to have the throttle setting to wide to get power.
