Question about 2000 Jaguar S-Type
Some cars have a tray under the sun roof going from back to front on both sides. Follow that tray and look for the drain holes. They are a little hard to see but use a bright flashlight. You can easily clean out the drains.
Hope this helps.

Hi. S-types around this year leaks water from the grommet which the harness comes through, through the bulk head or fire wall. It's on the right hand side and is directly behind the front wheel. You will have to remove the wheel and plastic lining to refit it. Move the carpet back first, to see if the grommet is loose.

A leaking heater core will allow water to run out of the case under the dash and pool under the carpet.
