SOURCE: how many bolts hold Mitsubishi

there are only 10 head bolts on that engine. the 3 bolts your talking about, aren't bolts they are plugs and shouldn't be removed.
a60ce70.jpg7ff722a.jpg0385b42.jpg if your pulling the head with the intake manifold attached, make sure you removed the bolts from the support bracket under the intake manifold.

They're guide pins for the calipar to slide on while braking,as well as bolts. A 10mm deep socket and ratchet should do it. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: replacing serpitine belt tension pulley

Lefty Loosey, Righty Tighty. As you look at the bolt from the front of the engine. It should loosen when turned counter clockwise. Curios though, why are you removing and replacing the tensioner? If your having trouble with belt tension it is most likely the belt.

I need to know what size sockets I need to remove the lower nuts on struts I don't want to remiove wheel and not have the right size tools

You have to remove the wheel to work on any vehicle

You need to own a full set of metric wrenches & sockets,
before you start- not ask what size a bolt is- your going to
need as well as use every tool you buy over the rest of
your lifetime

Even if someone knew the answer you provided no vehicle
or what part or bolts your going to be working on

Buy some tools, good ones Snap-on or Mac Tools
& do the job with some tools worth owning & using

1995 Ford Taurus V6-182 3.0L belt tensioner pully Center bolt (bolt on tensioner, not on pulley) sheared off. I already understand I will need to replace the tensioner assembly, that's not a problem....

If you can remove the bolt remnant without damaging the parent metal, you should be able to reinstall the tensioner. Get a new bolt directly from Ford so that you are sure you have the correct length, thread pitch, and hardness. If you are not very experienced in removing broken bolts, you may want to seek some help with this.

Ive taken all the head bolts out of the head except 2 the ones in the very middle i tried 10mm allan but they fit to loose also tried torque 55 it fits to loose scare im gona strip it am i using the wright...

Ok first of all, Cad's are known for bad head gaskets, especially in the 4.6 motor, so when you do get them off, buy replacement head bolts , the after market ones come with a hex head, but when getting them, take an old one with you to compare ,, some state they are not cut to length,, so make sure and match them up, also,, some need a washer which doesn't come with the new ones most the time, so get those too. Its always advisable to replace the head bolts when changing the gaskets, its unfortunate that cad's use so many specialty tools for their cars , some auto parts stores like autozone and Oreilly's have tools to lend , so check that out, they do have a puller for the cam pulley , take one of the already removed bolts in to them to get what you need for the last 2 remaining bolts, last thing you need is for them to get messed up and halt your job progress. a 10 mm allen is what is called for on the heads, so I don't know what to tell you there, I'm sorry.

What tool should we buy to extract a frozen bolt in a water pump on a 1986 Ford Mustang GT?

did the head snap off? If so you will need to buy a Easy Out tool corresponding to the size of the bolt.
you can buy a kit to.
the right size easy out for the bolt will tell you what drill bit to use. you than drill a hole in the center of the bolt and then put the easy out in the drill and push hard while spinning the easy out in the hole you drilled with the smaller drill bit. the easy out will bite and unscrew the bolt.

How do i remove the fan clutch from the water pump

I have never seen this particular engine, but fan clutches are usually left-handed thread, and you usually have to make a tool to keep the water pump from rotating.
Common tool is a piece of 1/8" x 2" steel strap/bar. You have to drill two holes such that they fit over the heads of the bolts that hold the pully on the water pump. You may need to grind the edge of your tool a little so it fits around the shaft. You don't need to bolt the tool to the pully, you just need to slip it over the bolt heads to keep the pully from rotating.
