Question about 2002 Mazda Millenia
Fluid is fine no oil in spark plugs transmission fluid is good and does not smell burnt water pump is bad dark liquid come out of exhaust pipe
I think I've answered this elsewhere. The gearbox has a high pressure pump driven by the flywheel to power the torque converter and various parts of the trans. No pressure, no go. Get an auto trans shop to test the gearbox for pressure. It can be done from underneath with a gauge. Water pump is a separate issue, that just needs changing. Black goo from exhaust is just sooty residue which is moisture and soot. Normal when cold exhaust.

It is possible that your transmission fluid needs to be changed. Get that done, and it that does not solve your problem you may have transmission problems all together.
Hope this helps

You may try to change your transmission fluid and filter. If that doesn't fix the problem you may opt to change your gear for the tranny using a high quality automatic transmission rebuild kits or choose the OEM.

SOURCE: help! im a *******! I
Well first of all you made me laugh so hard and i had tears in my eyes just cuz of the way you were explaining your issue, But all I can say is we all make mistakes. So what you did is totally wrong and It wont hurt the car as long as you didn't run it for days. so the engine was over filled and its normal for it to smoke for a while and it will be fine after, Just make sure the level is correct and also make sure you use the Automatic transmission fluid for the tranny and if you look in the Owner's manual it should tell you how many quarters you'll need. Also its normal that the car will loose power if the Transmission fluid level is too low because there will be no pressure on the clutch and the motion will be slow. So dont panic and everything will be alright. Good luck Bro

since you had a water mixed with transmission fluid, the only thing I personally believe that is no need to continue playing with as the water is the worst enemy of the automatic transmission. makes all the o rings to expand and corrosion . It happened to me a while ago and I reconditioned the Gear box.
