2013 Dodge Ram 1500. Airbag service indicator won't go off.

If it is random, it may be a bad clock spring.

Why wont my airbag light go off? Go to see an auto-electrician if the airbag light still won't turn off. A worn-out clock spring inside your airbag's control module, a dead backup airbag battery, or a corroded terminal inside the airbag system are commonly the reasons why the airbag light is illuminating. In rare cases, your airbag may need to be serviced.

Ldv 07 airbag light on how to reset

You can't "reset" it. The warning light illuminates when the airbag control module senses a problem in the system; it illuminates the light and shuts the airbag system OFF!
Get the car scanned with the appropriate scan tool to get the DTC(diagnostic trouble code) to direct you to the problem area. This could be a failed sensor, damaged wiring (any fender benders recently?), or even a failed "clock spring" under the steering wheel. One suggestion, enter your VIN with the manufacturer to see if there may be a recall... might save you some $.

Why does the airbag light come on and stay on?

Have system scanned for fault codes. You have a bad sensor or other damage component

Chevrolet silverado 2004 airbag sensors reset

The airbag in your vehicle is an important safety device, and the airbag module ensures the proper functioning of your vehicle's air bag. If this module is not functioning properly, your airbag may not deploy during a crash. When there is a malfunction, your airbag module warning light will illuminate on your vehicle's dash. You will need to have the airbag assembly checked out by a qualified mechanic, but once that is done, you can reset the warning light and airbag module unit. If you've never done this type of job before, it should only take you 5 minutes.
    • 1 Open the hood and loosen the retaining nut on the negative cable wire cable clamp using a socket wrench.
    • 2 Slide the cable clamp off the negative battery terminal.
    • 3 Wait 3 to 5 seconds and reconnect the battery terminal. Tighten the retaining nut using a socket wrench. Once the power is restored, the airbag module should be reset.
    • 4 Verify that the module has been reset by turning the ignition key to the "II" position and checking to make sure that the airbag light does not illuminate.

Please describe why is the airbag sign on when toyota echo is already started

You didn't mention the year or model or your vehicle but thats not important I'll just give more detail. Air bags are supposed to be guaranteed to work and in good operating condition for a period of 10 years after the vehicle is made. These are federally mandated guidelines. After 10 years is up you would need to have the dealer go through their process and either replace them or recertify them at your cost. Now if your airbag indicator light is on for no apparent reason (no damage to vehicle, sensors, tampering with steering wheel or other) than it sounds like you have a sensor fault which you'll want to have checked by the dealer asap (Most shops would not touch it for liability reasons) I have seen an instance with a chevy 2500 series truck that had the airbag light illuminated and the airbag deployed prematurely (not a fun thing if you're driving down the road I'm sure) so make haste in getting that checked out

Chevy silverado 2006 lights "service air bag"

First of all you need to get this problem fixed ASAP. While the airbag light is illuminated, your SDM (Sensing and Diagnostic Module aka: the brain of your airbag system) shuts of power to the airbags. In which, if you are in an accident your airbags will not deploy while this light is illuminated. You need to take your vehicle to a GM dealership. A Tech 2 scantool is needed to retrieve the code from the SDM. Hopefully it won't be a costly repair, but is something that defineatly needs to be corrected soon. Good luck and hope all works well.

Airbag light flashes 3 times then 6 times then stays on

This is for the driver's side air bag.
This may be due to a high resistance or poor connections in the side air bag (SAB) wiring harness circuits or restraints control module. This condition may occur on vehicles equipped with, or without, side air bags.
Ford has a Technical Service Bulletin out on this no. 03-24-1.
To service, install an overlay harness which incorporates soldered terminals and tin wiring. Refer to the service procedure for direction on which side air bag kit to order. Installation instructions and illustrations are included in the kit.
FOR VEHICLES WITHOUT THE (SAB), FOURTH DIGIT OF VIN IS "Y" OR "Z" :
  1. Install a new Non-SAB wire harness kit 3L2Z-14B455-AB. Refer to the installation instruction sheet included in the kit.
FOR VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH (SAB), FOURTH DIGIT OF VIN IS "C" OR "D" :
  1. Install the appropriate harnesses as indicated below. Refer to the installation instruction sheet included in the kit.

Airbag light on instrument panel flashes then stays illuminated

Some vehicles you can disconnect the battery for 10-20 mins and it usually resets a check engine light. But the airbag light is different. This means there is something wrong with the airbag system and it will not go out until maintenance.
