Tail lights fuse has no power to it.

Due to the safety implications the tail light fuse is generally supplied as directly from the main lighting switch as possible, though there is often a point where the front parking lights and tail lights split and this is sometimes in the wiring harness.

While not essential, a wiring diagram would be of tremendous help finding the fault if checking the cable crimps and accessible multway connectors does not bear fruit.

Power Mirror Wiring Schematic 92 Buick Lesabre 1992 thru 1997 & More

Here is a schematic which my dad & I devised over the course of two hours for the power mirror wiring on our 1992 lesabre, as we couldn't find any wiring info to handle this issue.

http://www.iqmetals.com/else/lesabre/

That's our/my website, and that folder will let you see & get all of the pictures & diagrams

The wiring harness for the power mirror switch was acquired through Rock Auto, and the wire lettering scheme was embossed onto the plastic.
Here's a written breakout of the wires & their locations/purposes.

A= Ground
B= Common Left/Right Motion(Splits to both sides)
C= Common Up/Down Motion(Splits to both sides)
D= Left Side - Left/Right Motion
E= Left Side - Up/Down Motion
F= Right Side - Up/Down Motion
G= Right Side - Left/Right Motion
H= Positive 12V

Now Assuming that all of the power mirrors are wired & color coordinated the same, that would connect....
B -- Light Blue wire of Both Mirrors
C -- Green wire of Both Mirrors
D -- Gray wire of Drivers Side Mirror
E -- Dark Blue wire of Drivers Side Mirror
F -- Dark Blue wire of Passengers Side Mirror
G -- Gray wire of Passengers Side Mirror

In our circumstance we hooked up the power and ground inline with the power window Power(Pink) & Ground(Black) wires which are nearby in the door. The fuse/circuit should easily handle the minor load of power mirrors, even if you were using the windows and mirrors at the very same time... a rarity I do suppose.

I have 89rs cavalier,the injector quit spraying. Tryed replacing computer,crank sensor,did not fix problem. I jump the injector and it sprays. Can anyone help me with this problem? I love my car and don't...

Check the ECM 15 amp fuse, position or fuse #3 in the fuse block. This fuse supplies power both to the injector and to the ignition coil. The red wire to the injector is the power wire, and it should be hot in run or on. If no power on the red wire with key on, check that the coil has power to it on the pink and black wire. If the coil has power, but none to the injector, the red wire is open between fuse #3 and the injector.

If the red wire has power, but the injector doesn't pulse, check the blue ground wire from injector to the ECM. The ground wire may be broken. When the computer internally grounds the injector circuit for a split second, that is what causes the pulse. The injector has constant voltage to it on the red wire when the key is on.

To check the ground wire for continuity, use a voltmeter set to ohms, one lead on the blue wire terminal at the injector, and the other lead on the blue wire pin at the ECM connector that has that blue wire. Take the connector off at the ecm. (take the negative battery terminal off first.) You may have to use a jumper wire from the injector terminal towards the passenger side, so the ohmmeter leads can reach between the ecm connector under the glove box, and to the injector. If the ohmmeter shows low ohms-low resistance to current flow-then the wire is good and not broken.

1988 Chevrolet k1500 350 v8 not getting signal to fuel injectors

So, it's the injector circuit. There is a 10 amp injector fuse in the fuse block, on left side, 4th one down. Check this fuse. It supplies constant power to both injectors, on the red wire to injector 1, and a white wire splice from this to injector 2. A steady 12 volts anytime key is in on, run, or start. You can check this with a test light or voltmeter. Ground the test light and probe injector connector's red wire on injector 1, and the white wire on injector 2-both should be hot with key on.
This may be why the noid light didn't blink. The noid light must have this steady power signal, and when the computer internally grounds the injector ground circuit for a split second, you get injector pulse-or a blinking noid light.
You can check the ground circuit separately with a test light also for each injector. Place the ground clip of test light on the POSITIVE battery post, and probe the blue (ground) wire on injector 1, the engine must be cranking over, and the test light should be blinking. Do the same for the green wire on injector 2. If the test light is blinking on both ground wires, with engine cranking-the ground circuit is good. You are sending power down the ground wire to computer, and when the computer grounds the circuit, the tester will light up-it will blink because the computer only momentarily grounds the circuit to cause pulsing of the injectors.

Looking for wiring diagram of plug to map sensor on 03 jeep wrangler

Step 1:

The orange wire is the power wire. You should have 5 volts on this wire with the key on.

Step 2:

The dark green w/red wire is the signal return. Voltage will vary on this wire from less than a volt to just under 5 volts depending on if the engine is off, running, or what RPMS the engine is running.

Step 3:

The black w/light blue is the sensor ground.

O2 sensors wiring diagrams

Locate the wires running off from the O2 sensor. There should be two. The black wire is the ground wire. The other wire, which may vary in color, supplies power to the sensor.

  • 2 Connect the power lead to the corresponding connector on the chassis's wiring harness.
  • 3 Connect the black, or ground, lead to the corresponding connector on the factory wiring harness.
  • 3 wires, "how do i wire it" are simply explained. all universal 3 wire o2 sensors will have 2 wires one color, the other wire a different color. the 2 that are the same color are ground and power for the heater and it doens't matter which one is which. so ground to the motor, power from the gray wire on the fuel pump, or anywhere you want to pull 12 volts while the car is running. i have a dedicated fan relay that doesn't use the ecm and runs off the key, so thats where i went. the different color wire goes to the stock sensor wire, it's the signal.

    I need to disable my alarm on a 1997 bmw 528i.

    Now im not sure since the manual says your model has the same alarm system as the 328i and on the 328i you can remove the module to disable by doing the following. you can unplug the control module. It is located under the glove box. Climb under the dash on the passenger side and remove a few screws on the trim panel under the glove box. Theres a black control module with a green connector. There should be a lock tab on the connector. press the lock tab and pull out the connector. The alarm should now be disabled. But if it has the special transponder key this may not work.
    But if the only reason you want to disable it is because of the motion sensor setting of the alarm for no reason there is a solution for this. To disable the motion sensor, hit the lock button to arm, then hit lock button again within four seconds to disable motion sensor. Red light on rearview mirror should flash four times, then pause, then start flashing on regular intervals. this is most likely the reason if your having the issue where the alarm goes off every 20 minutes.
    If you want to completely remove it below is a wiring diagram taken from the manual for you alarm system.

    Where are the cam sensor and crank sensors located on my car?

    Crank Sensor: Passenger side of transmission just to right and above the differential cover. Has 3 wires:

    Light Blue/Dark Blue stripe - Signal
    Dark Red - 8v supply
    Black/Light Blue stripe - Ground

    If the car runs or cranks, you can test this sensor by first checking for power on RED wire with key ON. Should be 8-9.5 volts DC. Furthermore, connect a dwell meter to the signal wire by probing the back of the connector. Dwell reading should be 49-51%. If not, its likely bad.

    If you remove the sensor, you MUST replace the paper spacer on the end of the sensor or you risk damaging the sensor or even the torque converter drive plate otherwise. Also make sure O-ring is in good shape and positioned properly.

    Cam Sensor:
    Facing Engine, it is on the driver side timing case housing, on top of the round part, just to the right of the fuel rail pipe where there is a capped fuel valve.

    Has 3 wires:

    Tan/Yellow stripe - Signal
    Dark Red - 8v supply
    Black/Light Blue stripe - Ground

    Testing is same as for Crank Sensor.
