Question about 2004 Dodge Neon
I've got a problem with the car taking gas if you push it down it acts like it's not taking the gas or the rev limit is stopping it from doing it. If you let up a little it will go but need to get your opinion on it.runs good besides that I hope you can help me out
Sounds like the air to the fuel intake is being reduced , check for leaks etc to the pipe work , even check if the pipe collapse's when revving vehicle , remove the airfilter to see if that is causing the problem, if all ok get the OBD codes read to point to the sensor/switch etc that may be causing the issue

You probably have a bad governor pressure sensor and solenoid. The pressure sensor is what normally goes bad ,but from vast experience,i replace both of them together and change fluid and filter.

Well you didn't mention if you had any check engine light on when it was running.
You most probably have a bad sensor that is casuing the problem. It could be one of a few...the throttle position sensor, mass air flow, or MAP sensor (which ever it has), oxygen sensor, or the air teperature sensor.
Any of these could be the culprit, and you should have it checked out to see whgat the cause is...it is most likely simple and cheap fix.
