Could be the throttle needs cleaned up along with the idle air control motor. Clean the MAF sensor. Could need a tune up with this. I do both. Year make and model would help me to help you.

Sorry old son but your clutch sounds like it has gone to the big junk yard in the sky reserved for dead clutches . When a clutch starts to slip it will continue to do so until that is all it will do . solution a new clutch is required .

My red 202 has a flat spot when I have 1/4 throttle on, now she died completely on me seems to be a fuel issue, yet the wiring I her is absolutely terrible, could this be a cause of my issues aswell?

Flat spots come from fuel /air ratio problems and the Stromberg carby on the 2002 has a plunger accelerator pump that has a setting so that a steady stream of fuel is injected into the throat of the carby when accelerating. Check that the plunger is working all the way down and that the 2 ball valves in the pump are working and not held open with rubbish. Look down the throat and press down on the accelerator lever and you should see a steady squirt for the full throttle movement

Toyota hiace 1982 18R motor not starting when cold

Sounds like the automatic choke is not functioning properly. Take off the air cleaner before starting on a cold day. Looking into the carburetor, the round choke plate should be nearly closed. If not, check the linkage to see if it is disconnected or hanging up on something. If it is OK, look down the carburetor with the chock plate held open, operate the throttle linkage and see it it shoots a stream of raw gas down the carburetor. If not, the accelerator pump will need to be replaced. That stream of gas aids in starting when cold and in acceleration (as opposed to a gas in mist form that it idles and runs on). An accelerator pump is included in a Carburetor kit and usually looks like a round flat rubber diaphragm.

Acceleration problems

Most chain auto parts stores will scan the codes free or loan you a scanner to use on site. Scan the code (even if the light has gone off, it maybe held in the memory) and see what it comes back with. Post the code number here or Google it

Fuel/accelerator problems. dies when accelating or at idle. runs when accelerator held in one position for a short while.

CHECK THE IDLE SPEED SENSOR, UNPLUG IT AND SEE IF THE VEHICLE REVS UP A BIT. IF IT DOES, THEN REPLACE IT. ALSO CHECK THE FUEL PUMP RELAY IN THE FUSEBOX. HOPE THIS HELPS. .LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK

Sticky accelerator action Mazda 121

Yes it does. But I would clean the throttle body first by taking off the hose that comes from the air filter to the throttle body, held on by a steel clamp. Hold open the throttle plate and spray it down with a brand name carb and choke cleaner. Keep me posted please.

Rough idle / varying oil pressure when accelerating

Ok not to keen on newer vehicles actually prefer the carburated ones, but oil pressure is supposed increase on your gauge when accelerating. If it wasn't going up before and just staying at 40 the needle might have been stuck. But idle should be 40 lbs and when you work the moter (reving or driving down the road) the guage should show an increase for every 1000 rpm above idle. Second if you can get a hand held scanner (bought mine off ebay for $30) check for any codes in your computer you will probably find that you either have a bank running wrong or some other sensor that needs to be changed. I'd go with getting my own scanner it saves alot of money and time, garages make their money here.
