SOURCE: tire pressure light remains on.

The problem here was most likely the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) was not equipped on your winter tires' rims. The TPMS module is strapped to the rim of each tire and when the pressure gets down too low (flat, slow leak, etc) it goes off. Usually costs about $35 to get reset if you ever get a flat and need to replace a tire. Dealership would probably do it for free.

So, to correct the issue, the dealership swapped the modules onto the winter rims and reset them. bingo bango, problem solved. Don't forget to tell them to move the modules back over when you put your summer rims back on!

SOURCE: what is the recommended tire pressure on the 05 fx

Too much air pressure (cold tire temp) when filling, will cause center tire wear. The pressure recommendations and recommended tire sizes are located on the inside driver side door panel.

On my 2012 ford focus the low tire pressure gauge came on I put air in the tires but it remains on

If the tires are not all the same shape, brand, size, and age, this will haunt you. The best thing to do is manually check your tire pressure every time you get gas for a month or so. If a tire has a slow leak, it might take a few days or a week to measure, and you may never "feel" a low tire until damage is done to it. While doing the pressure check, fill the tires up to what ford recommends. If you have a slow leak, you will remember after filling up the same tire a few times.

That being said, you may not have a leak. A tire may be out of balance, or out of round. Check your tread depth. Sensors are also known to go bad.

My car is eating away at my tires

How many miles on these tires? Are they wearing on the outside edge, inside edge, or evenly across the tread? do you have them rotated regularly? Generally the number one cause of premature tire wear is improper inflation. Always use the tire pressure information on the sticker on the inside of your driver side door, not the "Max PSI" listed on the tire. The second cause is the wheels being out of alignment. Most tire shops will check the alignment for free. I usually suggest Firestone because they (to my knowledge) are one of the only shops left that do lifetime warranty alignments. Good luck and hope this helps.

I wanted to know the correct tire pressure of a camry 1989?

Factory recommended tire pressure varies with the size/type wheels and tires that the vehicle was originally equipped with. There should be a tag or label on the driver's door or door post that specifies the original tires and pressures.

What is the recommended tyre pressure for winter conditions

the same as during the summer. look on your tires and test the pressure to see if it's close to the maximum psi, they are good, refill if the pressure is troo low.
the air is compressed when it's cold and expands as it gets hot. check your tire pressure every week and especially when the temperature changes like the cold winters and the hot summer.

09 toyota camry...warning light is on...looks like a horseshoe with an exclamation point in the clue what it means.

Hello. Welcome to FIxYa. Please allow us to assist you.

The ( ! ) light is your Low TIre Pressure warning light. This indicates that you have a low tire, or combination of tires that are not at the factory specified inflation presure..

We would recommend that you get the tire pressures inflated to the factory specs; the specs are on the driver side door opening area

Tire sizes and winter reccomendations

The tire sizes are recommended by every car model depending on the motorization and should be mentioned in your car manual.
As for winter tires, the narrower tires you get, the more pressure they put onto the snow and you get better grip. ( Ski´s cut deeper into the snow than a snowboard and can be controlled - snowboard mut be put on its edges to do curves ).
Hope this helps.
