Question about BMW X5 Series
First thing is to make sure it has the correct level in the transmission. Then if that doesn't work its either a 400-500 dollar fix (valve body) if it is the GM version of transmission or a 4000$ fix if it is the BMW version of the transmission. (rebuild or replace)

theres an anti-theft system. take positive terminal off battery, have someone holding the key on like trying to start it, then put the terminal back on and that should start it right up (had same problem in my dodge ram) if not, check all you're connections

SOURCE: where is the fuse for
Rear indicator fuse? Will that be for the tail lights? If so any light bulb has a filament which acts like a fuse. When a fuse blows out it is melted down in the middle. The lights have a tungstun filament sealed in a vacuum glass bulb which makes it last for years under normal use. When they get old or a crack forms in the seal area the filament burns out which opens like a fuse does. Check for a light bulb with a dark or hazed colored bulb. If you see one that bulb is burned out
