Detach the red positive lead then the black negative lead. To install battery reverse order.

when you go to buy the battery they will ask you year make and model and sell you the right battery wallmart kmart have a book you lookup year make and model yourself

Car Battery Specs

Need to have correct, cold cranking amps (525 cca) or higher. Dimensions length x width x height the same or smaller is ok. Larger may not fit in tray or have clearance with hood. Then the fact its top post battery. The other numbers mean exact size for oe fit.

Bad alternator or battery? What are torque specs on alternator.

check for broken wires especially larger primary battery and alternator connections at the starter also and as far as torque specs they are 60 ft.lbs. but just get them as tight as possible

I have a 2003 hyundai sonata and i think the battery is going bad. i have a meter to test the ah's but i can't seem to find how many ah's the battery has.

How old is the battery? I have an ' 04 Sonata and every time I think the battery is toast it will start the car on the coldest day . Specs 600 CCA battery (68ah) When in doubt replace !!

according to the specs you require
a 26R-50S 60 Amp
85-7YR 70 Amp or
24R-7YR 85 Amp

Those are the direct replacement for that vehicle
