Question about Cars & Trucks
Lie across the seats with your head below the steering column while someone hits the outside with a jet washer. After a few seconds you may well find your drip but check out the other suggestions. On another point, have you had the windscreen changed lately/ever?

Could be the drain line from the AC unit has been pulled back through the firewall and the condensation from it is just dumping it inside. Check to be sure it is out thru the firewall. Other than that could be a loose connection of the heater lines at the firewall under hood and tracing thru on the tubes of heater.

It is possible that the ac drain is clogged blowing some compressed air can clear it and allow water to flow again it is also possible the ac box may be leaking

The condensate drain is probably blocked. The water should exit under the vehicle. You need access to under the vehicle to remove the obstruction (could be a spider web or similar).

SOURCE: driver side floor water leak
Well, you are on the right path; the rubber seal around the windshield could indeed be deteriorating...what may be happening is the water is coming through the cowling and pooling up on the seal there...as the water sits, the seal deteriorates and eventually you will see water like you are now.
My recommendation to you is to take your Edge to a shop and ask them to look for a leak at the bottom seal of the windshield.
