Question about Cars & Trucks
You may have a bad connection at the fuse, you may have a bad fuel pump relay or intermittent, you may have a faulty fuel pump and when you reinstall the fuse it jolts the pump to work, the best thing to do is when it fails you need to get out the old voltmeter and ring out the wires when it fails to find the source of the failure if its from the pump wiring back to the relay, also the PCM or computer will run the fuel pump usually for 3+ seconds to prime the pump before you start the car, maybe the PCM is suspect

SOURCE: 2005 colorado , turns over dosent start
This happened on my 06, the first two times i brought it in they said nothing was wrong with it. Well, it kept happening and i noticed that when it did this that the security system light on the dash would blink. 15 mins later i could retry it and it would or wouldnt start right up. Went to the dealership and they had to replace the ignition because it kept engaging the vehicle engine immobilizer.

SOURCE: 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Fuel Pump?
Between 100-140 thousand miles the fuel pumps go out on the 1993 cherokee. Its a fact. All parts are manufactured with the knowledge that it will last for a specific period of time then it dies. The relay switch was helpful for a brief while because there was still some juice in that pump, but now that it is gone it is gone.
If you don't see the fuse box under the dash in the driver leg area or beneath the radio check for a covered box under the hood. There should be a fuse spec guide on the lid of the box that tells you where specific wattage should go and for what purpose. But, your fuel pump problem will not be solved by a new fuse.

SOURCE: 06 Colorado wont start at times
there is a faulty switch in the steering wheel column. My truck did the same thing. Next time check to see if the security light flashes next time it doesn't start. the time delay is more like 10 min.
