First check your battery and make sure it is charged up. A low battery will do this as well Next if the battery is up check your starter as it sounds like the solenoid switch on your starter could be faulty. Probably need a new one Make sure all your battery cables are clean and tight.as well on your battery _ starter and your ground to the engine.
