Do all of these 2.2l ecotec engines have the same crankshaft? Yeah they are. But I wouldn't put a used crankshaft in a vehicle. Way to many variables by doing this. Get a remanned with the bearings.

The 2.2 DOHC L4 engines used in both cars is the same basic engine assmbly, you may however need to switch over certain accessory brakets from the car the engine is going in, other than that they are exactly the same power plant.

camshaft sensor is going to be the sensor going to the head. and the crankshaft sensor is most likely around the area where the transmission and engine meet. if not then it would be around the area of the crankshaft pulley. the biggest pulley on your car.
