Question about Ford Bantam

How do fix power of the bantam when it stop itself while in motion

When it starts it moves around 200meters then it cut off.

Possibly the fuel filter or pump. Possibly a sharp bend (FIXYA won't let me say a four letter word that starts and ends with "K" and has "IN" in the middle as it's considered profane.), in the fuel line.

I would start with the Fuel Pump Relay. Check the Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter and Belt Tension.

The receiver wraps around the ignition switch. You have to remove the steering bezel to access it.

I have ford bantam 1.6i rocam 2006 model. It Doesn't start, It doesn't pump the petrol, the is no power to fuel pump


Refer to your manual there is a switch that deactivated the fuel pump in case of accident, there is a switch by the pasangers feet that if in the up position is activated to stop the fuel...

Ford bantam. Would not start. Checked no fuel pumping from the tank, thought it was the pump. Replaced it problem not fixed. Put power directly on the pump now it starts. Could it be the fuel pump relay...


I have the same problem, I m still looking for a problem but the relay are under the fuse box and u have to take out fuse box so that you can see them, If you find the help please let me know

Sounds like a range sensor problem! It mite be bad and need changed! About $80 for the part, versus $180 for ford to put it on!
