Kilometers liter per

asking for fuel economy
what engine?>
lots of engines, used, on corolla world wide
there are 3 numbers, the mixed i totally ignore.
1: city (horrid stop and go traffic)
2: open road, constant speed, faster less......

the biggest factor is the driver... and speed.
or conditions.
if you drive, up the rocky mountains here, and fill up on top
it will be less. there is no free lunch.
all that counts is who good it can be, ???

1998 nissan frontier, while driving, the air conditioner will star blowing weak and hot and the truck starts getting weak and jerking.

Turn the air conditioning off, when it does that. The compressor is working too hard, and there may not be enough coolant or oil running thru the system, causing a lot of drag on the pulley belt, causing the truck to **** and "get weak". Have your air conditioning system completely checked before operating it again.

How does the diff lock button work on my corolla

a diff lock is a 4wheeldrive option, usually for SLOW 4wheel driving, when in off road conditions or muddy etc, this locks up your differential driveshaft enabling your vehicle to gain more traction in grimy conditions.
limited slipdiff enables each wheel to move independently of the other wheel on the axle, and will move the stuck wheel at a half rotation if the other wheel is spinning

Jerking problem

Morganoffat,
I'm not a mechanic but I have 15 years in the parts business. From what you say I will point you into the direction I beleive your problem is. I would check your throttle control. follow the air intake to the engine intake manifold. in that area you will find what is called a "throttle position sensor". it is activated be the postion of the "gas pedal" it work alittle like a reostat switch. not much you can do with it other than checking ohm redings at differnt positions or replaceing it. Good Luck

Cooling fan corolla 98

The corolla fans are pretty standard over this period. Verify that the electrical connector is identical and you should be good to go.
