Question about Ford Focus
Car horn doesn't work on my 2012 Ford Focus. If I slam the steering wheel in a few times it works for a few days but then goes back out again. I don't hear a clicking sound. Any idea what this could be?
Definitely is in the horn button in the steering wheel. Because of the possibility of Air Bag deployment, this needs to be worked on by a qualified mechanic, Should not be that expensive though.

SOURCE: horn replacment
look under the dash at the fuse panel and locate the relay for the horn... replace it. quick way to tell which one it is is put your finger on each relay as you press the horn... the one that you can feel clicking is the one to replace.
Please take a moment to rate this solution thanks

Your issue is most likely the clock spring which is part of the air bag system.
All of the signals controlling these functions are routed through the clock spring.
Should cost around 200-300 to have it done, or more like 100-150 if you do it yourself. You must know what you are doing though as the airbag system is not to be taken lightly.
