I have a mazda 323 1994. i put a ignition in it but now the key wont turn. ?????

If you put a new ignition switch in it is possible that the pins in the barrel are sticking and are not moving as they should.. take the key out and put powered graphite in the key hole and move the key in and out a few times and that lubricates the pins.. If it still will not turn then best check that the key is correct for the barrel .

It has no power. there is no ch. engine light. the cat converters appear to be o k. ignition wise its seems fine. not a gas problem. what else could it be?

There is no way to know without testing things.
Seems ok on the outside but could be clogged on the inside out.

Ignition seems fine but what is the KV output. It could be weak.

Want to remove the ignition lock cylinder since a broken key is stuck inside.

get a phillipshead un do about 4 screws from underneath plastic cover which hides steering colume. remove cover you will see white plug on the left hand side of ignition barrel disconect.then right hand side there will be acable get a small chissel and anti clockwise tap bolts which have no heads on them that are on top of steering colume when they are alittle bit lose use plyers its easier pull bolts out clamp will then come of and then you can pull whole ignition of. now there is 2 brass pins which hold barrel in ignition up near the key end remove and barrel will come out but it might be easier to take whole ignition to locksmith and get them to do it and get new key for around 30 bucks i did a mates about couple months ago seeya orangepeel.
