Drain the oil, Remove the bolts/screws holding the pan onto the bottom of the engine. Remove all traces of old gasket. Clean the mating surfaces. Use bearing grease to stick the gasket onto the engine. Replace the pan and all bolts.

SOURCE: cost to replacing oil pan gasket on 1999 acura tl,

The cost of having that replaced professionally varies considerably depending on labor rates/parts in your area. This is not a question that can be answered accurately over the world-wide web. You need to contact your local repair shops with that question.

What do you torhce valve cover to on a 1997 acura 2.5 tl

First off, make sure you use a new valve cover gasket and replace and dogged bolts. Tighten them just enough to squeeze the gasket. The purpose is only to keep oil inside the engine and not leak out the valve covers... you aren't bolting down a head gasket here! Use an opposite pattern across the valve cover(s) to tighten them evenly.

What side is the bolt for the oil pan in acura tl 1999

17mm, if it is not aftermarket. that is for the drain plug. The bolts that attach the oil pan to the block are 10mm.

Motor oil keeps running out within 10 min of driving my acura 1996 2.5tl

NOT GOOD. You have a serious problem which may be an oversight, or a big failure.
Oversight possibility--oil filter left loose or oil fill plug in oil pan left loose.
Failure possibility--oil line came off, bad head gasket, bad valve cover gasket, bad timing cover gasket, bad inspection cover gasket, bad intake manifold gasket. Some of these should make the car smoke really bad, some not.
Good luck, and if I helped you, please remember to vote/comment.

When idling my 2003 Acura TL the engine seems to want to almost die, also when i got on the freeway it seem to pull hard and **** like it was having trouble shifting into 5th gear. It also seems to run...

You may need to change the coil pack(s) or modular. The modular is what the coil pack(s) mount to. I'm not familiar with that engine so you may have a 3 piece coil pack, or a 1 piece. (If it doesn't have a distributor). You may first try replacing the coil wire. There is a good chance that is loose, or bad. It could also be the coil itself. Try the coil wire and if it still acts up, then try the others. Also, when you changed the plugs, did you put new plug wires? When I do a tune up on my vehicles, I change the plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, (coil pack, modular), whichever is equipped, oil, oil filter, tranny fluid and filter with gasket, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket oil filter, and fuel filter. Try changing the fuel filter as well, as plugged or dirty fuel filters can cause stall outs. I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing fixya.com for answers.

Oil pan replacement

biggest advice i can think of is to make sure ALL of the old gasket material is removed before installing new pan to keep it from leaking when you install new gasket a thin coat of Form-A-Gasket or similar type silicone on new gasket sure helps out hope this helps
