No it isn't. It is a search and pay as you go procedure. Most shops will charge a 2 hour minimum. If they don't find it(most likely not) they call and give you a price for another 5 hours. Shops around me are $95 an hour.

Fuel pump relay wire burned. Should I change the wire or the entire harness?

I would do the wire first. It could just have shorted to ground. If that one burns, look at least to opening up the harness to find other wires burnt. Fix as necessary. Harnesses aren't cheap

I blew a wiring harness in my steering column, now my wipers don't work. Any quick and cheap fixes?

No idea what your saying

What is wrong with the wiring,
that can not be repaired?

No-- you do not want a different steering column,
that would make no sense, to me

I guess the $400 is for mostly labor, to repair the wiring?

Your asking about quick & cheap, when you haven't said
what the problem is in detail

You want the car properly fixed -- correct?
So why cheap & quick, that doesn't apply with your car

Hi Kacie.

Pretty much the only thing to do is remove the harness you spliced into the incorrect harness and use crimp connectors (the GOOD ones, not those cheap plastic blue ones) to match wire-for-wire and restore the original circuitry. THEN have at the correct harness and reinstall the stereo wiring. It's a PITA all right, but it really is the best way to fix your problem.

Sorry about the bad news...

You can buy a cheap harness from the local parts store for your Honda made specifically to put in aftermarket head units. Since you know the pin outs on your head unit, you can wire it up quickly uning this harness and it will plug directly into the factory Honda harness. Go to Scosche dot com part lookup for your number - I think the wiring schematic is on the outside of the package, too.

Head lamp doesn't work

It all depends. You need to trace it back to the fuse and switch. A switch is cheap, the harness that the switch plugs into is cheap but you have to pull one wire out at a time and replace them in the exact same slots. The fuses are cheap and wire is cheap.
Whats not cheap is paying someone to track it down. So if you feal confident witn multimeter. Then its some what easy and very cheap to fix.
