Check the the ignition module your auto parts store can do that for you if you take it off and bring it in if the ignition module tests good replace your coil

If its the 2.4 quad 4 engine, its extremely difficult and expensive. Sorry, but you should get rid of the car, those engines are no good, even when new. Assuming its the quad 4.....

1992 pontiac grand am no acceleration, a rough idle (engine miss)


Does it have the 2.3l Quad 4 engine? If so replace the plastic piece that the coils go into, they go bad and leak spark to the cam towers and then you get a nice one or multiple cylinder misfire.
