glo-plugs are normally in the head near the injectors. They are normally connected by a single wire or flat bar that is attached by a small nut. The socket best used is a long socket(deep ) and the tension is not excessive to undo
The location is a on the bottom of the engine block, just above where the oil dipstick enter the oil pan. If it does not have a block heater already installed, there will be a plug that takes a 14mm allen wrench/socket. Coolant must be drained to avoid being covered in it when the plug is removed.
not here. so cant help.
get your cars FSM from the dealer, and read that.
its all there, and is very complex.
he IMMO is married tot he PCM and BCM.
so.... lots of issues dealing with that.
theres a socket you can use to reset the immobilizer. follow the steering shaft down, then under the dash, you will find the socket. plug the key switch with the button facing away from you, while the ignition is switched on.I'm pretty sure it doesnt matter if the remote is broken or not, as it just bridges the circuit, allowing you to start the car. hope this helps..
TRY TO REARM IMMOBILIZER.PUT KEY IN THE IGNITION TURN IGNITION ON POSITION.TO ENSURE ALARM LED ILLUMINATES FOR 3 SECONDS.IF LED FLASHES MORE THAN 3 SECONDS,SYSTEM MALFUNCTION. UNPLUG BATTERY CAUSE PCM TO LOSE MEMORY.KEEP KEY IN IMMOBILIZER IN ON POSITION FOR 3 SECONDS AT A TIME.IF LED ILLUMINATES MORE THAN 3 SECONDS.CAR HAVE TO BE TOWED IN AND REPROGRAM.ANY TIME YOU DISCONNECT BATTERY BEST TO HAVE MEMORY SAVER PLUG IN THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER SOCKET TO KEEP POWER GOING TO PCM.
Sounds like starter, especially if it is clicking. However, i have run into problems where the aftermarket security was an issue because it disables the starter when actiated, try a starter first, if that doesnt work remove the aftermarket alrm/immobilizer and wire it back to stock.
Need to remove upper intake manifold to reach valve cover close to firewall. 1) The location of spark plugs 456 are under the plastic shield in front of the engine. It takes an 8mm socket to remove the three bolts holding the shield once the shield is removed you will see a coil for each spark plug. Use the 8mm socket and remove the coil and rubber boots. You will now see the spark plug (note there are not any spark plug wires). 2) The location of spark plugs 123 are located to the rear of the eng. You have to remove the air intake manifold in order to get to the spark plus. Remove the throttle wire then remove the other items on top of the intake manifold.
