I filled my clutch resevor with fluid dot 3.. I believe i have air in the line, is there a bleeder? If so where would that be located? Thanks , Zach


Line from reservoir goes to a cylinder at clutch lever on bell housing. There should be a bleeder nipple there. Looks like a brake line bleeder. Let me know if you find it. Thanks.

there's really no adjustment, if the pedal feels soft or it doesn't disengage you can try bleeding the fluid with fresh. If it still doesn't help it will likely need service

to bleed you'll need:
small hose that fits fairly snug on the bleeding nipple, around 8-12 inches in length.
small wrench (I want to say 8mm, but I can't recall for sure off hand)
a jar for the old fluid to be purged into
some DOT 3 (or higher) brake fluid

Preparation: place the hose onto the bleed nipple (just follow the hose from the reservoir, which is attached to the air filter box, down to the transmission itself, it should be pretty much up front and fairly easy to access) [my own preference is to use a closed end wrench on the nipple first then the hose to help hold it in place]

Bleeding: use the wrench to loosen the nipple a bit (maybe quarter turn), then press the clutch pedal, if the nipple is loosened enough it will easily go to the floor and stay there, go back around and tighten the nipple, then go back and pull the clutch pedal back off the floor, repeat the process until it appears that the fluid is clear, might be 20 or so repetitions. Don't forget to keep adding fluid to the reservoir as needed.

I had to unhook the brake line on the right front tire (1998 4runner)to remove the starter, wondering what I need to do to bleed the brakes now.


To bleed the brakes you need someone to pump the brakes and someone to watch the air valve on the back of the brakes until the air is out of the line. Once the air valve on the back of the brake line starts to flow brake fluid clearly then the air will be out. Recap the air valve and you should be ok.

Do i have a hydraulic or cable clutch in my manual transmission? if it is hydraulic, how much should it cost to repair/replace?


it is a hydraulic clutch, you should bleed it with fresh fluid before taking it in, as it's fairly easy, if a bit tedious. It can be done on your own, but will take 10-15 minutes and a fair few trips between in the car and in under the hood.

Last time I did this it made the clutch feel quite a bit firmer

I recently took apart the climate control module on my 1985 Winnebago motor home (GMC chasis & drive train). I determined that the reason I was not getting heat or A/C was because the vacuum tubes...


The exact connection of vacuum tubes in 1985 Winnebago motor home 
The vacuum lines attach to the pushbutton assy. through a molded rubber thing that has probably disintegrated and the vacuum lines are lying loose. Here's how to reconnect them.
Notice a group of seven nipples. This is where the vacuum lines attach. I numbered the nipples in the text drawing below. NOTE: This is the layout as viewed from the front of the coach. Use pieces of rubber tubing to take the place of the old molded thingy and connect the lines to the numbered nipples as described below.

Plug up nipples 1, 2, and 5.You can use  small nails that fit snugly into the holes.
Connect the black line (vacuum source) to nipple 6.
Connect the white line (rearward-pointing outlets) to nipple 4.
Connect the red line (downward-pointing outlets) to nipple 7.
Connect the blue line (heater) to nipple 3.

External does not connect. RED DOT for light.


Sounds like there's a bad hard drive. There are some recovery solutions that you can send your hard drive to. They will recover any data they can from the disk. It is pretty pricey, but the question you have to ask yourself is "Is the data worth X-amount of dollars?"

I need help I don't know what color wires go to what wires on my sterio deck


I have a radio wire connector on a 1994 Toyota Camary and the color don' match your list, here is my list.
2 reds, one silver dot, one double silver dot.
2 blacks, same as above,
2 greens, same as above.
2 whites, same as above.
2 browns, same as above,
1 white w/green stripe, two silver dots
1 black w/red stripe, one silver dot.
1 yellow, two silver dots.
1 blue, two silver dots.
the numbers on the connector are A02 16 14 11264 9 8.
I'm clueless which wire are which.

Try a small screwdriver, the plastic clip might not be releaseing or just use a little more force, try rocking back and forth and pull, it will come out.
