Question about 2000 Volvo S80
MOSTLY THIS ALWAYS HAPPENED WHEN THE CAR IS PARK IN A SUN AND THE TEMPERATURE IS ON HIGH SIDE
I would start by re setting the computer. Just get a 10mm socket (most are 10 mm) loosen the negative battery cable nut and remove the connection from the battery post completely and let it sit for at least 10 minutes then replace the cable and tighten it securely. see what happens. you should be all clear to go.
