SOURCE: need 2004 cavalier 2.2L no AC alternaot belt

there are many differnt combinations depending the options mounted on this engine. I would find one of the same at a used car lot and take a real good look at one so you will see which way it is mounted. There should be a label stuck somewhere under the hood for the belt routing from the factory too

My alternator went out on my 2004 chevrolet cavalier and before that happened a specialist from advanced auto parts tampered with my fuse box, what could be the problem?

I didn't know that there was any specialists working at parts stores. It's probably coincedence that it went out at this time. next time you go to the parts store ask them what they are specialist at. Most that I talk to aren't very knowegdeable.
