1996 chevy s10 pickup blows hot air all the time. even with everything turned off.

In my case (1995 S10) it was as simple as the temperature control potentiometer. The pot contacts were crushed, God knows what breaks and shorts happened there. Replaced the pot and all works like a charm. 3ffe43e2-1688-4bb5-ad86-58f1c719150e.jpg

Where is the heater control valve on 2001 chevy s10

i would look under the instrument panel on the passengers side, up towards the heater core area, it should be in line with the hoses., if it is not there, then look at the heater hoses, under the hood on passsengers side, there has been many models that had the heater control valve in that area also.

Location of drl module 2001 chevy s10

The drl module is part of the body control module,(bcm) located under the dash on the heater box. The drl relay is in one of 2 places. In the
fuse/relay block on the left fender. Or taped to the body harness near
the hose for the rear washer. The rear washer hose comes out of the
bottom of the front washer bucket to the firewall. Hope this helps.
