I have a 92 ford ranger 3.0 5speed It won't start it turns over and try. I have replaced the fuel pump and ran OK for 2wk then it started not starting again. This time my mechanic said it was the ECM so he replaced it. And still no start an yes it has a new coil pack and plugs. please help it's all I have thank u

Hi check all the fuse. fi the fuse are ok . remove the coil pack and reverce if the cly missifire change replace the coil if not chage replace the electronic comtrol module ok.

if the pump has been changed twice its probally not the pump. could be the fuel pressure regulator. the computer will still throw a fuel code but in order to really diagnose the problem they would have to test the fuel pressure.

Most Fords have a fuel reset button. When you ran out of gas you tripped the circuit. Most of the time the button will be on the passenger side by the kick panel. The exact location should be in your owners manual or your local library or auto parts store will have a copy of one for your specific vehicle.
