You have a busted head gasket and water is leaking into the oil.
Don't know how old the car is or how many miles it has on it, but it might be time to replace it because this is NOT a cheap fix.

My 2006 dodge ram 1500 4x4 mega cab 5.7 hemi has 234,000 miles runs good but it now has an oil leak. When I turn left or right while driving the oil pressure goes all the way down, the for back up after I...

Your engine won't run good much longer if you allow the oil level to get so low the pump sucks air on corners. The oil pressure dropping isn't a guide to how often the oil needs a top up. The idea is to top up before the oil pressure falls, probably checking and topping up weekly would be safer, at least until the leak is cured. In the old days only a fool wouldn't check the oil and water daily...

There are two ways to locate an oil leak. The first method is to wash the area around the leak and run the engine and watch using strong light and a mirror if necessary until fresh oil appears.

The second method is the high-tech method where a fluorescent dye is added to the engine oil and again the engine is run while a strong ultraviolet lamp illuminates the area until the dye appears.

hopfully the oil leak isnt causing overheating issue. if thats the case, your out of oil. if oil level ok, check coolant level, and if low, track down the leak source. make sure belt is intact, and water pump is spinning, etc. let me know what you find and i can help further.

Water is going somewhere on a 99 gr prix 3.1 no leaks but white gunk under oil cap. No smoke or oil in water. but i think their is water in oil. is that a head gasket problem?

If there is water in the oil, yes it most likely a head gasket/cracked head/block problem. Check the oil level on the dipstick. Is the oil level indicated too high? Drain the oil completely into a clear container and let it set overnight and see if water separates out from the oil. The white gunk is a sign of moisture in the crankcase. Short driving trips may cause this also as the motor doesn't get warm enough to evaporate the normal moisture out of the oil.

So yea i have a low coolant light on again i replaced the intake manifold last year and sometimes the light would go on and off but the fluid remained in the reservoir.. so the light came on the other day...

Easy way to tell if the intake is leaking internally would be to check the oil level because typically if it is leaking it runs through the engine and down into the oil pan.If the oil level is higher then normal then the intake gaskets leaking is a good possibilty. Another suggestion is checking the color of the exhaust coming out the tail pipe.Normal exhaust is white/grayish color and not normally thick and coolant escaping out the exhaust is typically a heavy white smoke. In addition that kind of exhaust would indicate a head gasket leaking. If you don't see thick white exhaust but the oil level is high the intake is probably leaking again.

High temp low oil 2003 ford explorer

High temp could be low coolant check your coolant level. Low oil-check for leaks, if no leaks then check for blue smoke out exhaust, if no blue smoke it could just be low. A vehicle will go through a quart of oil between oil changes, even a newer one.

White exhaust smoke

If you are having a lot of white smoke all the time the car runs then check for coolant mixing in with the oil, look for water in the oil when you check the oil or milky brown oil. This produces a white "steam" that is very thick to come out of the exhaust. If your engine temp. gauge is very high and over heats you probably have a blown head gasket. If it has a bluish tint look it may be burning oil. Indications might be how much oil is currently in the car i.e too much oil, or if there is a leak in the line you may be adding a bunch of oil over a short time. If it is only when you first start the car and the engine is cold, then it may be that your valve seals are bad and need replacing.

Somehow water has or is being burned, check coolant level and temp if you have temp light put a guage in if coolant low there is your problem if not check egr valve and pcv valve also check oil level if high and milky there is high possibility that you have blown head gasket and or block may be cracked allowing oil to get into the oil pan.

Hope help (remember comment and rated this).
