SOURCE: 2004 Pontiac Grand Am, V6,

Could be that due to the leak there is a possibility that AIR is gettingg into the system . If is possible that with the AIR lock the pump is not able to produce the requried pressure and so there is no pressure to the injectors.
I would recomend that the leak be plugged, the system must be bled and there must not be any air lock, Now if there is no pressure then the fuel pump must be checked and calibrated.

TPS is on the rear of the throttle body the throttle shaft that is attached to the gas pedal cable passes through the TB and goes directly into the TPS.

How to clean the throttle on 2004 pontiac grand prix

Take off the air cleaner housing. Throttle body is attached to the intake plennum. Spray down with throttle cleaner. DO NOT use silicone lubricants on the throttle as these are deadly on O2 sensors.

My 2004 jeep grand cherokee pulses! But only when driving and maintaining the same speed. It doesn't do it at idle or when I'm excellerating! I've replaced all spark plugs and wires, air filter, and the...

Have the idle mixture motor replaced and clean the throttle body intake, throttle plate, and that throttle linkage you see on the side of the throttle body with throttle body cleaner. Also, dump some complete fuel system cleaner in your gas tank and fill it with premium for a change, you cheap bastard.

Location of tps on a 04 6cyclider jeep cherokee lardeo

TPS is always located on the end of the throttle plate shaft, it is attached by two torx screws on the throttle body. The same shaft is connected to the throttle cable, through the throttle body and plate and then into the tps.

Where is the Intake Air Temperature Sensor or the (IAT)Sensor on a 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO 4.0 .??? I Have A Boss Performance chip that i would like to install....Thank's..

The air temperature is taken between the air filter and the throttle body. Look in the roof of your air cleaner box. (usually 2-pin plug) After the air cleaner, the tube that sends the air to the throttle body has the mass air flow sensor in it.(usually 4-pin plug)

2004 grand prix no go with traction control light on.

I had the same problem with my car. I cleaned the throttle body and when i installed everything back, the car would throw 2 OBD codes: P0120 at start up and P0507 when it stalled at a red light. Took it to the dealership and they had to install a new throttle body because the throttle position sensor is internal. Cost = $718.00 out the door. Part is about $480 and labor is 1.8 hours at $99.00/hr (bunch of ****). There is only a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty for work from the dealer so I would recommend doing the work yourself if possible. There is only 2 bolts on top, 2 nuts on bottom, 1 electrical connection, and 1 hose clamp.

2004 Grand Am With High Idling Problems too!

Make sure your throttle cable is not bound up on anything. Also where the throttle cable ends at the throttle body make sure it moves freely and there is nothing obstructing its movement..Rpms are a little too high to be a vacuum leak.
