Where is the resat button for the fuel.I have a 2010Mercury Grand Marquis when i turn the key the car want start but the motor will roll over.It has a new fuel filter and new battery.Briught it to the dealership and was put on the computer but nothing is sh o wing up what might causing this problem can you pkease help
The dealership shoud be able to tell you!
Possible fuel problem.
Cycle the ignition 3 times on and off:5 seconds per cycle to "prime" the fuel pump.
Add starting fluid into intake to see if the engine fires up to help with fuel diagnosis.

So you have power there, why not try a little whap with rubber hammer near it while key on to see if it will do anything. I;d try it just to see if it will come back to life.

most cars have an oil pressure sensor that is tied into the fuel system that will shut off fuel pump if oil pressure is low. Ford is famous for having a yellow fuel pump cut off switch that activates in a collision - you need to locate and check this 1st

you will need the proper Quick Disconnect tool, Look on the Frame rail for the filter, remove filter from the spring type retainer, remove the safety clips on the lines but not remove them completely, insert the disconnect tool & push into the fitting of the fuel line, push line & tool into eachother then pull filter away from line, if not done properly you will have a big problem putting the line back on
