The main fuse usually only goes between the battery and the starter and the alternator. I'd bet the starter wire insulation is cut through by one of the wire ties or at the starter. If the wire got hot , which if it's blowing a 50a fuse , it did, check any heavy gage wires coming from that fuse to the batt and starter and alternator

If the fluid is up -
it could be a vacume loss or the shifting module..
The shifting module is what tells it to shift - and it is controled by vacume pressure..

Need a bit more information to go on as there is no injector pump on a 4JX1 its a rail type engine .
You can get flash codes to come up on the engine check light from the OBDII socket by connecting pin 4 to pin 6 and turning the key to ign on . the light will flash - count the flashes gonna be something like 4 then 3 and maybe some other depends on how many faults you got.

If you get none then try my tips .

SOURCE: 2000 isuzu trooper: OBD-II Trouble Code: P0401 Insufficient EGR F

Your SUV is really giving you a hard time, lol. Sorry but I've had those days too.
I would try to check if you have blocked EGR passages. If ok check for restricted MAP sensor vacuum hose/passage or restricted exhaust. I know you replaced the CAT but if the muffler is blocked then there would still be a restriction. Also check the wiring and connection to the MAP sensor.

My 2000 isuzu trooper is blowing 80 amp fuse dont know why

If wires were disconnected ,you would have an open
circuit & no reason for a fuse to even be involved

You need most all the wiring in play to blow a main 80Amp Fuse

It keeps blowing fuel pump fuse

are you certain the right size fuse is being used? If so, you may have a bad fuel pump or a short in the fuel pump wiring somewhere. Check the wiring first and look for rubbed raw spots where it may have been rubbing on the undercarriage for the last 20+ years.

My fuse, under my hood that goes to both the running lights and the dah keep blowing

you have a short somewhere in the system you can try putting a heavier fuse in there but its not recommended as you could burn up all your wiring. your best bet is to trace your power lines and ground wires back and look for any exposed wire core or pinched/crimped wires.

2001 Isuzu Trooper No dash lights keeps blowing fuses

If you keep blowing fuses, you have a short somewhere in your wiring system. The ONLY way to fix this is to trace ALL your wires, and find the one that is grounding itself out by not having any insulation around it. Which means you can see the wire itself. Hope this helps, James Booth. Please rate this. :)

Turn signal/backup light fuse C-3 blows frequently on 1994 Trooper

The fuse should be around 15 amps, anything less than this will probably blow with any type of surge. The reason for a fuse of the correct value blowing is a short circuit in the system. Look for wires chaffed through, especially where the wire passes through body work and through supporting loops. Check the bulb holders that there are no loose or bare wires there. Other than that it is a long slow process of inspection and checking. Do not try replace the fuse with one of a substantially higher value, you could burn out wiring and harnesses - or the whole vehicle.

1992 isuzu trooper 3.1 td when iturn ignition on for the heater plug it blows the big fuse under the bonnet every time

You have a dead short on the glow plug circut, if you look at the back of the motor there's a wire which is attached to the glow plug rail, this may be rubbing on the engine. If you follow it and make sure that this is not the case, then it can only be a short circut with one of the glow plugs. Hope this helps. Let me know if this helps

Reverse light short

if im not mistaken, under the car on the tranny you should find the switch, youll have to consult a manual for the exact location. it should be on the drivers side, look for a bump with wires coming out of it. i was haveing the same problem with my 1985 trooper. i found that the switch was partially unplugged and causing a short, thus blowing the fuse. follow the wires until you find a connection. see if it is unplugged. if not, then check the cotinuity of the switch with a multitester. it may be a bad switch
