Windows fog up

There is too much moisture inside the cabin. Either something is leaking water into the car, or your fresh air setting is not working on the hvac system. You can not run the system on recirculate and get rid of the moisture.

Jensen back up camera moisture in lens

I would try a blow dryer on low to medium heat. Have someone watch the monitor with the engine off and the ignition on so if the view improves you can stop without over heating the camera behind the lens.

Rear window wiper stopped working. It clicks when I turn it on and off. It has stalled at the mid window position. How do I remove the motor and drive assembly from the rear window.

It sounds like you have a broke window regulator. I can't give you specific instructions for your vehicle because you did not mention exactly what vehicle you are talking about. (Year, Make, Model, etc.)

Basicly, it goes like this:
Remove the door panel. Disconnect elecrical connectors as necessary.
Remove the inner moisture barrier.
Remove the bolts holding the window regulator to the glass and pull the glass up to the top of the track and use duct tape over the top of the door and down both sides of the glass to hold it in the up position.
NOTE: you may have to cut the cables to the regulator to get the glass to come up into a position where you can access the bolts.
Remove the electrical connector to the window lift motor.
Remove the bolts securing the window lift motor and the window regulator and remove the motor and regulator assembly.
Reverse procedure to install.

How to remove and install the driver side window (just the glass) on a 94 honda prelude

Here is how:
See Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
  1. Remove the door pad and inner moisture barrier.
  2. If working on the rear window of a sedan, remove the two upper screws securing the center channel. Remove the two lower bolts (in the door) securing the channel and remove it. On some cars, the two screws are concealed below the weatherstrip.
  3. For sedan rear doors, remove the quarter glass. The entire glass and rubber seal may be removed as an assembly from the door.
  4. Lower the door glass until the glass mounting bolts are accessible. One will be easily seen in the large access hole in the door; the other will appear in the smaller, round access hole. Remove the bolts.
  5. Stand next to the inside of the door. Tilt the door glass and remove it through the slot.
  6. On front doors, remove the bolts securing the front run channel, then remove the channel.
  7. Remove the regulator mounting bolts and remove the regulator. On later models, there are additional roller guide bolts to be removed. Mark the roller guide mounting bolts to ease window alignment later.
  8. For power windows, remove the motor from the regulator if desired.
CAUTION The regulator gear will move suddenly when the motor is removed due to action of the large spring. Keep hands well clear.

How do you fix power windows on a jeep grand cherokee. window wont go up but theres power

Need to buy a new window regulator (about $100 at autoparts store).
(leave your windo up and tape it to the window frame so it does not fall)Take interior door panel off, gently remove any sound or moisture barriers, remove old regualtor through the large service holes in door frame, (there will be clips you have to remove to release the regulator) do not let the glass fall (you may have to remove the glass by taking out thru the top of the door), install new regulator, re-install other parts in reverse order.

4Runner headlight has moisture inside. Light works fine

yes. it should be a fairly easy job, just be careful when removing the glass, and make sure you get your headlight re-alligned when it is done, as it will fail its mot if not done.

hope that helps.

How do i fix heater core on a 2006 chrysler 300

If you're getting hot air, it's not the heater core.

Windows fog up because the humidity level inside the vehicle increases while the temperature of the windows decreases to a point where the dew point of the air is higher than the temperature of the glass. When this happens, moisture from the air condenses onto the glass. When you breath out, you increase the humidity of the air in the car because of the moisture in your breath.

The key for defrost to work isn't necessarily heat, it's more important to dry the air. There are two ways of doing this:

1.) Make sure you have the air recirculation turned off. This feature causes your car to recirculate air from inside the car through the air ducts. In the summer when it's hot and humid outside, this is what you want. However in the winter when the air is dry, you want to bringing fresh dry air from outside to replace the humid air inside the car.

2.) Turn on the A/C compressor. This will cool the air before it passes through the heater core. Cooling air removes moisture. This is why your car drips water from underneath in the summertime when you run the A/C. It is literally removing moisture from the air.

However, if your heater isn't working (blowing cold air even when on the warmest setting), then you may have a different problem.

88 toyota p/u window arm removal

remove the window by un-doing the two bolts at bottom, then undo bolts that secure window mechanism to door. I think you will find that it is not the gear that is stripped. The shaft that supports the gearruns in a pressed steel bush, this is what will have worn. I just cleaned away the sahrds and tacked on a nut of the right size to act as a replacement bush.
