It could be a pin-hole leak in a high-pressure injector line, which would be an extremely dangerous condition. It should go without saying that any fuel leak is dangerous, you'd be well advised to have it towed to a qualified mechanic. An engine compartment fire can total a car in a heartbeat, not to mention the risk of injuring or killing yourself and others.

I have a ford econoline 1990 have gas running down the front left on the main member cant fined were its coming from.

Most likely a rusted out fuel line. Trace the steel lines from the fuel tank to the engine. Most rust-outs occur as pinholes that spray fuel in a mist. If the hole is against another surface, it may just flow. Follow the wet area upward until you can't see fuel anymore and you probably have the leak site located.

Gas leaking front passenger side of ford windstar

Have you looked under the hood? (I don't mean to sound like a wise guy.) There are two shiney metal pipes one on the front of the engine and one on the rear as you look at it from the front. They run from right to left on the engine. These are the fuel racks that feed the fuel injectors, (assuming that you have a 3 litre or larger v6 engine). These can concievably rust at the left, (passenger), end and blow gasoline out the passenger side. It is also possible that gas could be leaking anywhere on the engine and roll off the passenger side of the engine or if the fuel line on the driver's side has rusted over a cross member of the frame and possibly roll to the passenger side. Also, there is pretty good pressure on the fuel line when it is running. If there is a rust hole on the right side of the line itself, it could spray to the passenger side, hit something and drip off from there. These are just possibilities. Good luck. Jeff M.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2003 kia rio 1.6 liter? I cant find it

For locating the fuel filter look under the car, its just below the back drivers side door, you will see the filter there, its black if its factory and it has three hoses coming off it, basically, find the gas tank and work your way to the front of the car following the lines and you will find the fuel filter. Right by the tire more or less. Try the left side (drivers side) near the rear wheel by gas tank just after the rear door.

60,000 miles or 60 months to replace. Its fairly large and you can see the fuel lines going in and out of it. One nice thing it has snap fittings which makes change over easy.

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

Unable to powerlock on left side and raise power windows on left side.

it's your driver door switches that panel controls it all . My window lock button went and all but driver front woud not work first I woud take door panel off and check wire and plugs to the switches. If the switches are bad you can replace but it can happen again or you can try this cause it worked for http://soxja.org/images/pics/Bypass/Bypass.html

Gas filter change.  How to do it and where it's located?

The fuel filter is about 10 dollars. It is under the car on the drivers side just about even with the back of the drivers door. You MUST jack up the car a bit and put a safetly block of wood or cement block under the car in case the jack fails. Wiggle under the car and note the metal gas line runing from the tank in the back of the car up to the front. Along the way is a metal "can" about the size of a Red Bull can. You must loosen the hose clamp that holds it to the body of the car with a slotted screwdriver. Then try to pull off the rubber gas line hose from each end. This requires some effort. On my 2001 each hose end is held onto the filter by a clip that must be pressed down on each side to "open" the clip so it will slide off the ridge on the filter. When installing the new filter BE SURE to squeeze this clip again and make sure it is grabbing the ridge on the filter otherwise it will leak. Test by gently pulling on the rubber hose. It should not come off the filter.

When disconnecting the filter expect to get some gas on your hands and arms.

Good luck.

I have a 1995 dodge intrepid and i need to replace the coil. where is it located

Hi my name is Allen!

If you have the 3.5 liter engine, viewed by standing in front of vehicle facing the engine the coil is on the left side about half way down engine, it mounts on a bracket, the plug wires run off of it and go to the top of the engine.

If you have the 3.3Liter it is also on the left side but much easier to get to it mounts on the side of the upper intake plenum, you can see the plug wires runing from it.

For further asistance you may reach me at FixYa!
