Where is coolant temperature sensor on 1999 camero


Chevy Temp sensors are almost always located either on the thermostat housing or on the intake manifold very close to it. Follow your top radiator hose down to the thermostat housing. It will be in that vicinity. Looks like a brass fitting with a wire clip coming off of it. Kinda resembles a spark plug. May be covered by a heat shield.

Is the Engine wiring harness the same as the for automatic than a standard shift. Engine was removed from another camero,same year,the car had an automatic,my car is stardard shift


my 95 camero 3.4, won't start it has spark and fuel but i think the fuel injectors are't working. i have no check engine lite on.

My ignition switch on a 95 chevy camero has locked up and wont turnsometimes if you giggle the steering wheel it will turn over but it has really jammed now


If you can remove the ignition lock assembly and take it to a locksmith they can rekey it for about $20.00.With age the pins in the lock will start ti jam.

yes, do some internet searching, I believe there is a control that you unplug inside the hatch on the left hand side, remove the inside plastic panel, undo the connection, wait 5 minutes then reconnect. This I have done once along time ago on a 94 model. Remember I am only here to help and wish this works for you. Good luck.

check the compression is that checks out check your spark plugs and alternator and ensure that the spark plug wires are in the correct fring order in the block and on the distributor
